Indiana State Capitol

The first Indiana State Capitol building in Corydon, Indiana. The building dates from 1814-1816, and cost $3000 to build. Though originally intended to serve as the Harrison County Courthouse, it housed the state government from 1816 to 1825, at which point it reverted back to the county. It is now a state historic site.
