Gene Stratton Porter Home

This is a view of the Gene Stratton Porter Home at the Limberlost State Historical Site. Porter was a writer who produced more than ten books while living here, including A Girl of the Limberlost, Laddie, and Freckles. The home, designed by Porter, has fourteen rooms; the logs are cedar.
